Gulf skyscrapers : The Architect Community of Gulf

If you are like us then you would have been waiting for this to happen. With communities focusing on development and .net in general being available, there was a need to have a community with a focus on architecture and design of systems and solutions. Thanks to Pooya finally an "Architect" community called "Gulf Skyscrapers" is being launched in Gulf.

Mission Statement:

"Our mission is to provide value to the architect community and to make IT
Architects in the Gulf region more successful.

 

We'll act as a support system and forum for local architects to share ideas
and discuss topics that are important to their job as software and
infrastructure architects.

 

We'll also help the aspiring architect community to hone their skills and

Writing technical white paper!

As I said in the previous post that I have been busy working on a real-time trading platform. Before launching our product we had to come up with a technical white paper stating its technical intricacies. So I ended up writing it. GITEX 2006

Finally I am back to work from today after a very hectic week at GITEX 2006. I really got exhausted because I had been busy for many weeks leading up to it. But it was good to be there. I got to meet a lot of people and was able to present our company product as well answer technical queries regarding solution integration. I hope I will be able to attend next GITEX as well.

Architect Community

During GITEX Pooya invited us for a launch of an "Architect Community" called "Gulf Sky Scrappers".
According to Pooya following is a vision of the community:

"Our mission is to provide value to the architect community and to make IT Architects in the Gulf region more successful.

We'll act as a support system and forum for local architects to share ideas and discuss topics that are important to their job as software and infrastructure architects.

We'll also help the aspiring architect community to hone their skills and follow the right path on learning the fundamental software architecture skills."

I am sure that this initiative will help the architect community by providing a common platform and online presence. It will also be extremely beneficial for aspiring architects of the community.
